Our Story

Some people find the ocean. Derek Marso was born into it. Raised on the Southern California coast, he was fishing off Point Loma before he could ride a bike — reading kelp lines, chasing yellowtail, and learning that the Pacific rewards those who pay attention. Captain Josh Senn followed a parallel path, logging thousands of hours offshore out of San Diego's sportfishing landings before most people finish college.

They met on someone else's boat during a wide-open yellowfin bite thirty miles out, realized they fished the same way, and never looked back.

DEREK MARSO

Derek Marso is a seasoned angler, known around town for his dedication and expertise in the world of fishing and hunting. With a lifelong love for sports and an insatiable thirst for adventure, Derek has redefined what it means to be a master angler and hunter.

Born and raised in San Diego, Derek Marso developed a love for fishing at an early age. Spending countless hours on the water with his father and grandfather, he learned the intricate details of fishing techniques and developed a deep respect for the ocean. He has spent many hours on the water and continues to learn each and every trip.

CAPTAIN

JOSHUA SENN

Captain Joshua Senn grew up in Lakeside, California. Joshua developed a love for fishing at an early age while spending time with his father on his grandpas boat. In the early 2000's, he started working on various sport fishing boats in San Diego. As time passed and his experienced evolved, Joshua transitioned into commercial fishing.

Now, with over a decade of commercial fishing under his belt he wants to share his love and passion for fishing with others. Such as, targeting big bluefin and other pelagic fish up and down the coast of California and down the coast of Baja.
