Meet at Dana Landing, 2630 Ingraham St, San Diego, CA 92109. Confirm your departure time and any itinerary-specific paperwork with the crew.
Guests obtain their own required licenses and cards before departure. Everyone taking or assisting with lobster needs a California spiny lobster report card, including participants under 16. Anglers age 16 and older generally need a sport fishing license and Ocean Enhancement Validation; a one- or two-day license does not require that validation. Check current CDFW requirements for your circumstances. Obtain licenses and report cards from CDFW.
Review CDFW recreational lobster guidance for current size, bag-limit and report-card rules. Follow the card instructions before hoop-netting and record your catch when you finish at a location. The crew can help with trip preparation, but guests obtain their own required documents.
